Welcome
Dear friends and colleagues
It is with great pleasure that I invite you and you partner to join me in Wellington at the end of October 2012 for the 65th Annual Scientific Meeting of the New Zealand Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (NZSOHNS).
The conference will be held at the wonderful Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa – situated on our vibrant Wellington waterfront.
The theme for the conference is ‘Finding the Right Balance’, and in keeping with a conference in the capital city, we will be looking at some medico-political issues as well as discussing cost effectiveness and equity of access in ORL surgery. Two international speakers are confirmed at this stage, and there will be a live surgery session before the meeting as well as workshops on a number of professional development topics.
Wellington in spring is a great place to visit, with extracurricular activities to suit everybody, and I look forward to welcoming you all in October next year.
